		<description><![CDATA[You know I hate being a crank (oh, HOW I hate it), but instead of freshwater sharks, don&#039;t you mean that Balmorhea has its own breed of rare pupfish? (You must have confused this with the entry you wrote about Lake Nicaragua--freshwater sharks there!) I vividly recall a long-ago NPR report about the Balmorhea pupfish. I also recall the little girl who went with her family on that reporting trip, whose tiny toes the pupfish nipped. Had they actually been freshwater sharks, the toe nipping would have been a little less endearing--though probably more memorable!]]></description>
